In order to further assist graduate students in understanding the development trends of the sports industry and clarifying their future career planning, the School of Physical Education held a lecture titled "Analysis of the Sports Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Advice" on the afternoon of July 13 in Meeting Room 423B of the Waijing Building. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Hu Zhenzhong, founder of “Dangwei Sports,” and attended by several faculty members and graduate students from the college.

At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Hu shared his personal experiences to emphasize the importance of making wise choices and maintaining perseverance. He pointed out that since students have chosen to pursue a master’s degree, they should persistently fulfill their academic and research responsibilities during graduate school. He encouraged students to closely integrate their scientific research with the practical needs of the sports industry and to test the feasibility of their research outcomes through real-world practice.

Mr. Hu then presented, with rich visual data, a comprehensive overview of the current status and future trends across various sub-sectors of China’s sports industry in recent years. He highlighted that the field of sports technology holds tremendous potential, and that outdoor recreation and niche sports are expected to become emerging hotspots. He stressed that future development in the sports industry must align closely with national policy directions, urging students to link their personal career paths with the broader trajectory of national development.
